About Harlinsdale Tree Co

A Franklin tree service named for The Park at Harlinsdale Farm, doing four jobs with more patience than the trade usually shows.

The name

The Park at Harlinsdale Farm is Franklin’s signature civic ground — one of the places that make Franklin feel like Franklin. We borrowed the name because it stands for the thing this company exists to look after. The trees over Franklin’s yards belong to the same inheritance as the park itself, and working on them is a responsibility we take personally.

How we work

Slowly enough to be safe, and transparently enough to be trusted. Every job starts with a free visit and ends with a walk around the property. In between, the rules don’t change: the estimate is itemized so you can see and question every line; limbs over anything valuable travel down on rope, not by gravity’s schedule; and the crew treats the lawn, the beds, and the fence like they belong to someone — because they do.

We are equally comfortable telling you a tree should stay. A good pruning saves many of the trees people call us ready to lose, and recommending the smaller job is how a local company earns the bigger ones over time.

The four jobs

Tree removal, pruning and trimming, storm and ice response, and stump grinding — for houses, not subdivisions under construction. We don’t clear acreage, we don’t do land grading or dirt work, and we’d rather do four things properly than ten things adequately. Residential tree work across Franklin, Brentwood, Thompson’s Station, and Leiper’s Fork is the whole business.

Where you’ll find us working

Under the old maples near downtown, in the newer yards of Westhaven and Berry Farms, up the big lawns of Brentwood, and down the gravel lanes west of town. Franklin is a growing place — just over ninety-one thousand people now — but tree work keeps it feeling small: most weeks start with a call from a street we already know.

Judge the company by one visit.

Call, or send the estimate request. The first look costs nothing and tells you everything.
